SUBSTANCE: invention relates to colour-changing pigment, method of its obtaining and application of such pigment. Colour-changing pigment contains padding of lamellar form with homogeneous thickness of layer, which is, at least, from 80 nm and to 5 mcm thick, and has size of particles between 2 and 250 mcm and consists of, at least, 80 wt % of total weight of padding, silicon dioxide and/or silicon dioxide hydrate and electricity-conducting layer, surrounding padding. Electricity-conducting layer is presented by layer, which contains antimony-doped tin oxide. Method of obtaining colour-changing pigment includes: a) optionally coating of padding of lamellar form with homogenous thickness of layer, which is, at least, from 80 nm to 5 mcm thick, and has size of particles between 2 and 250 mcm, and consists of, at least, 80 wt % of total weight of padding, silicon dioxide and/or silicon dioxide hydrate, with, at least, one packing with layers, containing dielectric layer, which has refraction index n≥1.8, and dielectric layer, which has refraction index n<1.8, where layer, which has refraction index n≥1.8, is applied directly on padding and optionally additionally on layer, which has refraction index n<1.8, on condition, that in each case layer, which has refraction index n<1.8, is applied directly under electricity-conducting layer, producing padding plate, b) covering padding plate, obtained at stage a) from all sides with electricity-conducting layer, which is presented by layer, containing antimony-doped tin oxide.
EFFECT: obtaining colour-changing pigment of high electricity-conductivity for application in paints, coatings, plastics, films, etc.
