FIELD: physics, optics.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an electrophotographic photosensitive element, a process cartridge and an electrophotographic device having the said electrophotographic photosensitive element. Provided is an electrophotographic photosensitive element, having a special conducting layer and which ensures smaller change in potential of the illumination zone and residual potential during repeated image reproduction, as well as a process cartridge and an electrophotographic device having said electrophotographic photosensitive element. When conducting tests, where voltage of -1.0 kV, having only a dc voltage component, is continuously applied to the conducting layer for 1 hour, the conducting layer has a bulk resistivity which satisfies mathematical expressions (1) and (2), as values before and after the test: -2.00≤(log|ρ2|-log|ρ1|)≤2.00 (1) and 1.0×108≤ρ1≤2.0×1013 (2), where in expressions (1) and (2): ρ1 is the bulk resistivity (Om·cm) of the conducting layer measured before testing; ρ2 is the bulk resistivity (Om·cm) of the conducting layer measured after testing.
EFFECT: providing an electrophotographic photosensitive element, having less change in potential of the illumination zone and residual potential during repeated image reproduction, as well as providing a process cartridge and an electrophotographic device having said electrophotographic photosensitive element.
