FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed ICE comprises compression ratio variator and valve open-close moment controller. Actual compression ratio and ignition moment at preset normal state and engine heating are memorised as basic actual compression ratio and ignition moment in compliance with every state of the engine when engine temperature is lower than that at normal state, or when sucked air temperature is lower than that at normal state. In engine operation at high rpm actual compression ratio is increased relative to basic actual compression ratio to increase heat efficiency while in operation at lower rpm ignition moment is set to advanced magnitude relative to basic ignition moment to up said heat efficiency.
EFFECT: higher heat efficiency at low engine or sucked air temperature.
