METHOD TO DETERMINE ADHESION STRENGTH OF ARMOURED COVER FIXATION WITH CHARGE OF SOLID PROPELLANT Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC G01N19/04 

FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method includes manufacturing of a "sample disc" from an armoured full-sized charge or its "satellite", and the disc contains a central hole, arrangement of working sites along the disc generatrix by cutting of parallel slots with a mill, and the working sites are evenly distributed along the armoured surface, adhesion of holders to them for application of tear-off load and testing of the "sample disc" on a tearing machine. Via a fixing rod placed in the central hole, the "sample disc" is connected to the fixed grip of the machine, and the holders in turns - with a movable grip. The tearing machine is a software and hardware complex, comprising a loading unit, which provides for required speed of movable grip motion, a thermostatting device for tests in the temperature range ±50°C and a strain-gauge unit of load value registration, for joint operation of which software is used. The example of the specific version is a technical solution with working sites with width of (7.5±0.5) mm, diameter of the "sample disc" of 68.8 mm and diameter of the central hole (20±0.5) mm, which was used for determination of adhesive strength of the armoured coating with the MANPAD.

EFFECT: production of valid results on adhesion strength of armoured cover fixation with a charge of solid propellant along its entire perimeter.
