FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: ret of invention relates to separation of solids from fluid, particularly, from ICE lubricant. Centrifuge comprises housing and rotor. Said rotor comprises shaft to run in said housing and is composed by partially hollow shaft. Centrifuge incorporates centrifugation drum running jointly with rotor shaft. Said drum has inner space to receive fluid to be separated via hollow shaft space. Said drum has at least one drain hole to allow fluid to be discharged from drum inner space. Drum is made up of top and bottom parts. For self-unloading of said inner space, said top and bottom parts are spaced apart by uncoupling mechanism and can run jointly with rotor shaft. Drum top part displaces axially on rotor shaft, driven by uncoupling mechanism, parallel with rotor axis to open position whereat drum bottom part is spaced part from top part. Pressing mechanism is engaged at drum top part to up the pressure between drum top and bottom parts at drum closed state.
EFFECT: ruled out increased loads at rotor bearings.
