FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: diamond drill crown includes a housing and a diamond-containing matrix divided with flushing slots into sectors and containing impregnated and intermediate layers, the latter of which has an annular projection interacting with a mating cavity of the impregnated layer. The annular projection of the intermediate layer is made in the form of a sine with amplitude that does not exceed the half width of the matrix; with that, length of each matrix sector comprises at least length of sine wave.
EFFECT: improving crown operating efficiency.
