FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: Laser Doppler flowmetry is combined with 5% acetylcholine ionophoresis. A time of Dopplergram rise and recovery on the stomach skin above a pubis in a projection point of a prostate. A reaction type of the microvascular endothelium is determined. If observing decrement reaction types, namely having the time of Dopplergram recovery of min 134.7 s, a congestive genesis of chronic prostatitis. If observing increment reaction types, namely having the time of Dopplergram recovery more than 168.7 s, a bacterial genesis of chronic prostatitis is diagnosed.
EFFECT: technique enables providing more effective differential diagnosis of the bacterial and congestive genesis of chronic prostatitis using the assessment of the functional state of the microvascular endothelium.
