FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to filling big-bags with cullet and can be used in glass production and construction industry. Proposed method comprises placing of big-bags on weighing device of filling station, inflating of big-bags with air forced by blower, pre-crushing of cullet, feeding it into big-bag with the help of vibratory feeder and control over weight of cullet portion to be filled in big-bag. Note here that after crushing cullet is fractionated to fine fraction sized to less than 10 mm, larger fraction with particle size of 10-40 mm and coarse fraction with particle size over 40 mm. Note here that, first, fine fraction is fed into big-bag in amount of 20-25%, of total weight of the portion. Then, larger fraction is fed therein in amount of 75-80% of said total weight. Coarse fraction of cullet is returned after fractionation for additional crushing.
EFFECT: better integrity of big-bag in transportation and storage.
