FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: there are disclosed method and device for the non-invasive determination of the body substance concentration, e.g. human blood glucose. An adequate accuracy is attained by an emission value determined by a detector corrected in view of the emission of system components. A temperature of each system component, including a detector temperature and an environmental temperature is determined by thermal sensors attached to different system components. These temperatures correlates with a set of calibration parameters for correcting the detector data.
EFFECT: device measures the substance concentration by recording the far-infrared emission emitted by the body, through using the infrared emission detected by using the infrared emission recorded in a combination with the respective filter set.
