SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication engineering and can be used in a demodulator based on a quasi-coherent detection method. In the carrier recovery circuit, a phase rotator rotates the phase of a baseband signal detected from a received signal. A loop filter controller controls bandwidth of the loop filter based on phase error and amplitude error of the baseband signal. A phase rotation controller controls the phase rotator based on the phase error eliminating its high-frequency component. The bandwidth of the loop filter increases when the difference between the phase error and the amplitude error is greater than a given value, and decreases upon determining that the amplitude error decreases due to reduction of the bandwidth of the loop filter.
EFFECT: high quality of demodulation.
