FIELD: physics, communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for notification on approaching train. The centralised system for addressing workers at a railway haul comprises portable announcers connected to a navigation signal receiver and a signalling device, as well as with a radio station transceiver which is connected to a GSM-R or TETRA communication network. A locomotive navigation signal receiver and a controller are connected to the transceiver of a locomotive radio station which is connected through a radio link to the GSM-R or TETRA communication network to which the device of the automated train movement control system is connected. Software of the control device converts geographic coordinates of the locomotive and workers at the railway haul to coordinates tied to the railway track, followed by generation of notification signals or signals verifying accuracy of the notification.
EFFECT: high safety for workers at railway tracks.
