SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of machine building, namely, to reinforcement building, and may be used in chemical, oil and gas mining and other industries. The gate of the wedge valve comprises a shell connected to a spindle, which covers ledges of two identical discs with a composite foot placed between them and upper and bottom holders retained in the shell by collars, and holders are placed into circular grooves of discs, sealing fields of which interact with response fields of seats made with unilateral slants, fixed and sealed in the body. The slant angle of seats is equal to half of the angle of the wedge shell. The foot consists of two circular step-bearings of equal height that cover a ball made of a strong material.

EFFECT: development of a unit of a wedge valve gate with increased extent of repairability.
