FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline shutoff valves and accessories for fluid and gases. It can be used in oil-and-gas industry, petroleum industry, power production, etc. Claimed process comprises in fitting the seats in place in the body, securing them and sealing. Chambers of the inlet and discharge pipes are shaped and provided with at least one circular groove. Nuts are fitted therein from the wedge side. Semi-rings are fitted said circular grooves of the pipes to make the circular ledges. Seats are fitted from the body inner side, on the wedge side, for the nuts to be fitted on mating threaded parts from the side of inlet and discharge cavities of the pipes. The wedge is downed to contact between its working surfaces with seat surfaces to allow a required position of seats relative to gate body and wedge surfaces. The seats are finally locked at preset position by nuts fitted on seats sides opposite their working surfaces.
