FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: gate of the wedge-gate valve has body with input and output branches, solid wedge interacting with sealing surfaces of the seats, resting against the body collar, and sealed relatively to the body. The seats are installed using nuts on ring shoulders made in cavities of the input and output branches. The said shoulders are made by half-rings installed in ring grooves of the said cavities.
EFFECT: improved reliability.
