FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of engines and can be used in diesel high-pressure fuel pump delivery valves. Proposed pump comprises housing accommodating plunger, sleeve with intake bore and pressure chamber and pump union. Pump union cavity accommodates pressure valve with inlet and spring-loaded closing element fitted in valve body with cylindrical pin made at element end face. Chamber is made between valve body and said end face. Pump union cavity communicates with fuel duct via channel. In compliance with one version features a definite length and has stepped part aligned with aforesaid pin. Said stepped part can be made as smaller diameter cylinder, smaller than that of the pin. Besides, said cylinder can be made with transition section shaped to truncated cone. Also, stepped part of said cylindrical pin can be shaped to truncated cone. In compliance with second version, valve body inlet on closing element side gas stepped section shaped, in particular cases, to cylindrical surface or cylindrical surface with conical transition section or as conical surface. Pump operation in compliance with said first version influences notably the fuel feed stability as well as its configuration while in compliance with second version it is influenced by valve body inlet configuration.
EFFECT: stable fuel feed, injection pressure, reliable operation.
