SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines. ICE valve lifter comprises camshaft (5) with rotary axle (5a), first assembly (16) with first contact means (9) to engage with camshaft (5) guide surface. Said first assembly (16) can be lifted when first contact means (9) gets in contact with extending part of guide surface (6). Displacement drive can convert upward motion of assembly (16) to lift at least one ICE valve (3). Proposed device comprises adjuster (20-22) to ensure rectilinear motion of first assembly (16), hence, first contact means (9) in the plane perpendicular to camshaft rotary axle (5a) between first and second contact positions on guide shaft (6).
EFFECT: controlled valve open/close intervals.
