FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery and can be used for the early diagnosis of recurrent varicose disease of the lower limbs following surgical endovascular laser obliteration (EVLO). That is ensured by a combined thermometry that is measuring skin infrared (IR) temperature and a deep microwave thermometry (MTM) on 12 symmetrical points over a posterior surface of shins. Then derives thermograph values are compared to the post-EVLO primary thermographic limits in the patients with no recurrent varicose disease (NORM-2). Each limit is scored as '1' or '-1'. If the patient refers to the NORM-2 limit according to the specific sign, the point '1' is assigned. If the VD is stated, the point '-1' is assigned. The total score is calculated. If the derived value is negative the given patient is diagnosed with recurrent VD following EVLO.
EFFECT: method provides higher accuracy of non-invasive diagnosis of the postoperative recurrent varicose disease of the lower limbs.
