FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: temperature measurements are taken in symmetric points of leg back for patient being laid or standing with surface infrared detector and internal microwave detector. Diagnosis is specified with the following criteria: average infra-red temperature of leg is higher than that of healthy person; axial gradient of infra-red temperatures 1°C from the highest temperature of upper one-third of leg to the lowest temperature of lower one-third of leg is absent; there is medial-lateral gradient of infra-red temperatures, and the highest temperature pointed within medial leg; axial gradient of internal temperatures is lowered for patient standing and is absent for patient being laid; reduction and absence of axial gradient of internal temperatures caused by increase in internal temperature by medial leg within middle and lower one-third.
EFFECT: method provides increased sensitivity and specificity of thermometric varicose diagnostics.
