SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an installation for tobacco leaves drying; the installation contains a drying chamber and an air-preparation system; the drying chamber has double side walls forming side air ducts; the outer walls are thermally insulated while the inner walls are made in the form of adjustable louvres; a tray with heating elements is placed under the floor; the heating elements are connected to the side air ducts via air valves placed along the chamber.

EFFECT: reduction of specific energy consumption on the leaf tobacco drying process.
