FIELD: physics, optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of determining spectral and spatial distribution of photon flux of deceleration radiation in at least one spatial direction (x, y, z). The method is carried out by measuring neutrons obtained when deceleration radiation photons (ph) fall on at least one conversion target (5) which is moved in said direction (x, y, z).
EFFECT: shorter measurement time.
