FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: simultaneously, first X-ray beam and photoneutrons are generated. Object is examined with the help of X-ray image produced using the first X-ray beam. Simultaneously object is examined with the help of neutrons (neutron image) on the basis of analysis of characteristic gamma-radiation emitted due to reaction of photoneutrons with examined object material.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of detection and higher reliability.
