FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electrically heated smoking system containing a cartridge (101) and a replaceable tip (201); the cartridge (101) contains a source of power supply (103) and an electric circuit (105); the tip contains an area (203) for liquid storage, a capillary wick (207)(having the first end (207a) and the second end (207b), the first end stretching into the liquid storage area for contacting the liquid (205) contained in the area); at least one heating element (209) for heating the second end of the capillary wick, an air outlet (211) and an aerosol generation chamber (213) between the second end of the capillary wick and the air outlet; when the cartridge and the tip are connected; the said at least one heating element (209) is in electric connection with the source of power supply (103) via the said circuit (105); the said circuit (105) is designed for electric current pulse supply to the said at least one heating element when the user begins whiffing; the air flow way is designed from at least one air inlet (115) to the air outlet (211) through the aerosol generation chamber (213); this way directs air flow around the heating element (209) and the second end (207b) of the capillary wick.
