FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hemostatic tourniquet. The tourniquet contains an inextensible tape designed to be closed into a loop around the injured limb, at one end of which a self-jamming buckle-closer is attached, passed through a tension lever mechanism configured to perform the functions of a ratchet mechanism, with a tension core made slotted. The tourniquet harness contains a fixed support plate and a movable lever for rotating the tension core. The tensioning lever mechanism contains two helical sprockets with square-section holes, the teeth of each of which are alternately deflected in directions opposite to each other. The fixed support plate is made with sides located on its end sides, each of which has a central hole of circular cross-section for installing a tension core with a cross-section corresponding to the cross-section of the holes of the helical sprockets, and six holes evenly spaced around the circumference relative to the central hole. The movable lever is U-shaped, at the ends of the movable lever there are sides with an external shape of circular diameter, each of which has a central hole of circular cross-section for installing a tension core with a cross-section corresponding to the cross-section of the holes of the helical sprockets, and six holes evenly spaced around the circumference relative to the central hole. Each helical sprocket is installed at each edge of the tension core between the sides of the fixed support plate and the sides of the U-shaped lever with the ability to interact with the holes through teeth during rotation and is designed to ensure winding of an inextensible tape onto the tension core as a result of rotation of the tension core when the lever moves to the side against the bevel of the teeth of the helical sprockets as a result of the teeth engaging with the holes of the side of the lever while the helical sprockets are able to rotate relative to the side of the stationary support plate in the direction of the bevel of the teeth of the helical sprockets, and when the lever moves in the direction of the bevel of the teeth of the helical sprockets in the absence of engagement of the holes of the side of the lever with the teeth of helical sprockets, the rotation of the tension core and helical sprockets does not occur as a result of the teeth of the helical sprockets engaging with the holes in the sides of the fixed support plate.
EFFECT: reduction of the weight and dimensions of the turnstile structure due to the absence of additional stoppers between the lever, sprocket and reel.
