FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely oncourology. A radical cystectomy is performed. An orthotopic neobladder is formed of an ileum segment. A peritoneum is separated from an anterior wall of the rectus that is followed by its cranial traction. A hole is formed in an abdominal peritoneum in a projection of a Douglas pouch. The neobladder is brought through the hole into a cavity of the lesser pelvis. After ureters are implanted, the peritoneum is closed.
EFFECT: method provides a short path to the cavity of the lesser pelvis for the neobladder with no mesentry angulations and compressions, and limit the abdominal cavity from the lesser pelvis.
