FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: Kerdo index and relevant oxygen consumption are pre-measured at different physical activity levels. A relation model of the Kerdo index and the amount of oxygen consumption (litres per minute) are used to derive: z=a1·x+a2·y+a0, wherein z is a measured intensity of the activity, x is a measured Kerdo index, y is a body response in the form of oxygen consumption (l/min); coefficients a1, a2, a0 are calculated. The amount of individual oxygen consumption is derived from the measured Kerdo index and intensity of the activity by formula
EFFECT: method enables the adequate evaluation of the individually consumed oxygen on physical activity using no gas analysis equipment.
