FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention represents a SQUID-magnetometer for photomagnetic research and may be used to measure alternating magnetic values in performance of magnetic measurements when studying physics of magnetic phenomena, photo-induced magnetism, biomagnetism. The proposed SQUID-magnetometer inside a cryostat additionally comprises two superconducting screens. The first screen contains a solenoid, the lower part of an ant-Dewar with a sample holder and a heater, a superconducting transformer of magnetic flow and a superconducting quantum interference sensor, additionally enclosed into the second screen. The superconducting transformer of the magnetic flow is equipped with a key, and receiving coils are connected as series-opposite according to the circuit of the gradient meter. Besides, the SQUID-magnetometer comprises a source of optical radiation, the light beam from which by means of a condenser via an attenuator and a modulator is focused at the first end of the light guide arranged outside the cryostat. The second end of the light guide is placed in the anti-Dewar in the zone of the investigated sample so that the investigated sample is in the field of the optical radiation.

EFFECT: increased noise immunity and expanded field of SQUID-magnetometer usage by provision of possibilities for performance of photomagnetic research.
