FIELD: magnetic measurements; determination of magnetic susceptibility and conductivity of substances. SUBSTANCE: spherical specimen placed in receiving coil of superconductivity quantum interference sensor-magnetometer is acted on by pulse field. In course of droop, total change in resultant magnetic flux and its change between two fixed moments are recorded; first fixed moment is selected during pulse of resultant flux and second fixed moment is selected from droop curve. Magnetic susceptibility or permeability of substance and its conductivity are determined according to the magnitudes obtained with the use of expressions.
