FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of photometric measurements and relates to a device for measurement of sensitivity and threshold energy of photodetector devices. The device includes a source of continuous radiation, a rotary mirror or a prism and a slot, forming a pulse source of radiation in the form of an attenuator-converter and an attenuator-generator of a bundle of radiation in the form of a collimator, on the optical axis of which, closer to the focal plane, there is an outlet hole of a photometric ball. The slot of the pulse source of radiation is arranged upstream the inlet hole of the photometric ball. The distance from the slot to the mirror or prism, the size of the slot and the speed of mirror or prism rotation are selected so that the duration of the radiation pulse downstream the slot is less than the duration of the pulse characteristic of the investigated photodetector device.
EFFECT: expanded dynamic range of a device.
