FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: usage: to control connections of metal parts with plastics for availability of cavities with the help of ultrasound. The substance of the invention consists in the fact that with the help of an ultrasonic detector of a defectoscope, ultrasonic signals of certain frequency and length of the pulse are sent into plastic at the metal side of the part, and in which ultrasonic signals reflected from defects available in plastic are recorded by the same or different ultrasonic detector of the defectoscope, and are converted into processed electric signals and analysed in the plan of threshold values. At the same time the frequency of control of ultrasonic signals is set in the range between 1 and 10 MHz so that sound suppression after passage of the plastic film is minimum.
EFFECT: provision of the possibility to reliably detect cavities in a layer of an adhesive substance or in a coating material.
