FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: at low frequency of pulse repetition, which provides for unambiguous detection of distance, they measure Doppler spectra of a back-scattered signal along the entire route of distribution, then at high frequency of repetition, which provides for unambiguity of measured speed of scatterers, they measure summary Doppler spectra of back-scattered signals produced simultaneously from several distances, and by correlation between characteristics of Doppler spectra along the route and total Doppler spectra they determine projections of speeds of scatterers at all distances. The cycle of measurements at different frequencies of repetition may be repeated with frequency of change of scatterers or variation of target reflection ability in a beam, and correlation characteristics may accumulate.
EFFECT: removal of unambiguity in measurement of distance and speed.
