FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical-thermal processing of steel parts by thermal diffusion zinc coating, namely couplings for casing and tubing pipes. Steel parts and saturating mixture, consisting of inert carrier, zinc powder and activator, are loaded in sealed revolving reactor, heated and maintained at temperature of 360-380 °C in inert atmosphere. Steel parts are loaded into pipe of the multitube reactor with radial arrangement of pipes parts are axially oriented in each reactor pipe. Diameter of the multitube reactor pipe is 10 % larger than the diameter of a steel part.
EFFECT: higher corrosion resistance of steel parts, improved operational characteristics of steel parts and increasing the number of cycles of screwing-unscrewing of threaded connections.
