FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: this invention relates to handling of metal articles for cold forming by application of lubricant coat in said metal surface. It differs from known processes in that lubricant ply is formed by contact of surface with lubricant water composition. Said composition contains at least two waxes with obviously different properties, different content of organic polymer including ionomer resin and non-ionomer compounds. Note here that ionomers consists, mainly, of ionomer copolymers jointly with appropriate ions. Said non-ionomer compounds are selected from oligomers, polymers and/or copolymers based on acrylic acid/methacrylic acid, amide, amine, aramide, epoxide, ethylene, imide, ether, propylene, urethane and their ethers and/or their salts. Note here that weight ratio of total amount of at least two waxes and total content of one or several ionomers and/or one or several non-ionomer compounds in lubricant compositions varies from 0.01:1 to 8:1. Note here that the coat composed of lubricant composition in the temperature range of 40-260°C features, on the whole, two areas of melting and/or melting points at least two of which are spaced apart by at least 30°C.
EFFECT: non-polluting coating suitable for cold forming.
