FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. The invention provides a process for production of plants-regenerants of strawberry in vitro, comprising administering of explants to the culture, propagation and rooting of the newly formed shoots in vitro, where the fragments of flower disk and flower-stalk of the strawberry flowers are used as explants, taken in the bud stage, which are washed under flowing water for 15-25 minutes, sterilised with 0.1% mercuric chloride solution for 10 minutes, then washed three times with sterile distilled water, the flower disk is released from the sepals and petals, cut into pieces of 5×5 mm and the cut is placed on a culture medium, the flower-stalk is separated from the flower, a piece of 5 mm long is cut and placed also on the nutrient medium.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a larger number of plants-regenerants from one explant.
