FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is a method of obtaining plant materials of Siberian iris (Iris sibirica L.) by clonal micropropagation and cultivation under hydroponic conditions, including introduction of explants into an in vitro culture, cultivation on a MS nutrient medium for the regenerant production, their reproduction and rooting, where at the stage of micropropagation itself alternate nutrient media through a single passage containing MS + (2.5–10.0) mcM BAP + 1.0 mcM NAA + 0.1 mcM IBA and MS + 1 mcM BAP + 100 mg/l L-glutamine + 100 g/l adenine sulfate, the resulting planting material is grown in a hydroponic plant of an industrial design on MS nutrient medium containing half set of macrosalts and microsalts, a full set of vitamins, iron chelate and calcium chloride.
EFFECT: this method allows to get 1 kg wet weight of raw materials or 3 kg per year of dry weight from 1 m2 of hydroponic installation area for 3 months.
