FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to application of ionic liquids for improvement of protection against oxidising and thermal destruction of lubricating composition, consisting of mixture of a) from 82.5 to 95 wt % of basic oil or mixture of basic oil based on synthetic, mineral or natural oils, which are applied separately or in combination, b) from 0.1 to 7.5 wt % of ionic liquid and c) from 4.9 to 10 wt % of additive or mixture of additives.
EFFECT: obtaining composition, which possesses higher thermal and oxidation resistance.
