FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: proposed noise killer comprises case with inlet and outlet pipes, two inner crosswise webs to divide noise killer chamber into three chambers. Noise killer case is shaped to cylinder while inlet bran pipe is equipped with ozone feed union. Chambers located nearby inlet and outlet pipes have lengthwise web to divide each chamber into two parts. Lengthwise webs are located level with inlet pipe top wall made of gas permeable material and coated with catalyst of platinum, palladium and rhodium salts. Crosswise web nearby inlet pipe is perforate at top section while mid chamber opposite web is perforated at bottom section. Chambers above lengthwise webs are filled with layer of dispersed particles of ceramics or quartz glass containing catalyst of platinum, palladium and rhodium salts to occupy two thirds of their volume. Dispersed particle layer in chamber nearby inlet pipe features bulk density of 1300-1500 kg/m3 while that nearby outlet pipe makes 1600-1800 kg/m3.

EFFECT: higher efficiency, decreased content of harmful substances in exhaust gases.
