POLYESTER COMPOSITIONS WITH IMPROVED THERMAL-OXIDATIVE STABILITY OBTAINED IN MELT, AND METHOD OF THEIR OBTAINING AND APPLICATION Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC C08G63/183 C08G63/187 C08G63/189 C08G63/82 C08G63/83 C08G63/84

Abstract RU 2516848 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to polyester composition. Described is polyester composition for injection moulding, which includes obtained in melt polyethylene terephthalate polyester, containing residues of 2.6 naphthalenedicarboxylic acid in its composition in amount approximately from 0.1 mol.% to 3 mol.% of the total content of residues of dicarboxylic acid in obtained in melt polyethylene terephthalate polyester, which constitutes 100 mol.%; aluminium, present in amount approximately from 3 ppm to 100 ppm of aluminium atoms of the total weight of polyester composition, as well as lithium, which is present in amount from approximately 4 ppm to 250 ppm of lithium atoms of the total weight of polyester composition. Also described is product, which includes obtained in melt polyethylene terephthalate polyester containing residues of 2.6 naphthalenedicarboxylic acid in its composition in amount approximately from 0.1 mol.% to 3 mol.% of the total content of residues of dicarboxylic acid in obtained in melt polyethylene terephthalate polyester, which constitutes 100 mol.%; aluminium, present in amount approximately from 3 ppm to 100 ppm of aluminium atoms of the total weight of product, as well as lithium, which is present in amount from approximately 4 ppm to 250 ppm of lithium atoms of the total weight of product.

EFFECT: obtaining polyester composition, possessing high thermal-oxidative stability.
