FIELD: testing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method is designed to test, adjust, diagnose and operate turbojet engines, specifically, to test technical condition of gas turbine engines by acoustic and gas dynamic parameters of the flow. Fields of acoustic and gas dynamic parameters of the flow of speed and thrust of the tested engine with acoustic and gas dynamic parameters of the flow by speed and thrust of the reference engine and with acoustic and gas dynamic parameters of the flow by speed and thrust of the engine with specific defects in the flow path.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase accuracy and validity of diagnostics of technical condition of elements of flow path of a turbojet engine, definition of a specific defect and its location and size both when tested on a bench and under aerodrome conditions to define defects of engines that are in operation.
