FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of measurement equipment, in particular, to the method and device for diagnostics of gas turbine engines by variation of aeroacoustic flow characteristics. The method to measure acoustic characteristics of gas jets at the cut of output devices of gas turbine engines includes measurement of acoustic characteristics of aerodynamic noise by flatness of the jet, assessment of changes in output acoustic parameters in the entire range of frequencies from reference ones, using which, in their turn, they determine availability of specific defects. At the same time measurements of acoustic parameters are carried out simultaneously in the entire plane of the nozzle cut by means of an aeroacoustic antenna, which represents a diffraction lattice, made of optic-fibre sensors. The lattice of sensors is installed as fixed in the plane perpendicular to the gas jet, and coaxially with it, at the same time they increase frequency of measurement along the periphery due to reduction of lattice pitch towards its periphery. The device of GTE diagnostics represents a system of measurement of sound pressure levels made in the form of an aeroacoustic antenna. The antenna is realised as a diffraction lattice made of fibre-optic sensors and is installed as fixed in the plane of nozzle cut, at the same time the lattice pitch is reduced to its periphery.
EFFECT: increased accuracy and validity of diagnostics.
