SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering and particularly a communication system for a group call. The group call method includes a step where a mobile switching centre (MSC) receives group call request information sent by a mobile station (MS), wherein the MSC is located in a MSC pool. The method also includes a step of servicing a group call according to the request information. A group call register (GCR), which is connected to any MSC in the MSC pool, includes group call attribute information used to enable any MSC in the MSC pool to have a MSC serving function.
