SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics and can be used in seismic exploration. Disclosed is a foldable pendulum having a base (F), a test load (PM), a simple pendulum (SP) and an inverted pendulum (IP). The simple pendulum and the inverted pendulum are connected at one of their ends with the test load (PM) and at the other end with the base (F) through four corresponding connecting devices (G). The test load is not connected to the base (F) and is capable of oscillating. Each connecting device (G) associated with the pendulum (PS) has one or more connections in stretched state. Each connecting device (G) associated with the inverted pendulum (IP) has one or more connections in compressed state. The invention also relates to a seismic sensor in which the foldable pendulum disclosed herein is used.

EFFECT: improved functional capabilities of the device.
