FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: in a metal pipe with an inner plastic pipe prepared for corrosion protection of a pipeline welded joint by a backing bush, the plastic pipe ends are distanced from the butt ends of the metal pipe and are fixed by bushes. Metal rings are installed between the corrosion resistant steel bushes and the metal pipe ends and are connected to each other by press-fit or adhesive joint or by both the press-fit and adhesive joint simultaneously. On one side the bush ends are fixed at the plastic pipe ends and the other bush ends are protruding beyond the metal ring butt ends and are distanced from the metal pipe butt ends and form a gap with the metal pipe ends.
EFFECT: improved corrosion protection efficiency for pipes and their welded joints.
