FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in chemical industry. Method of obtaining lithium tetrafluoroborate includes addition of lithium borohydrate in tetrahydrofuran into liquid hydrogen fluoride at temperature (-57)-(-53)°C. Solvent is removed in vacuum at temperature 100-105°C. Reaction mass is kept at said temperature for 4 hours with residual pressure 0.03 mm Hg.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase output of target product and its purity.
