FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology for the synthesis of tetrakis (trifluorophosphine) nickel used for the deposition of nickel coatings upon deposition from the gas phase, and as a working gas in the gas-centrifugal enrichment of nickel isotopes for the production of beta-voltaic current sources. Process for producing tetrakis (trifluorophosphine) nickel involves dehydration and decomposition of nickel oxalate by heating it to a temperature of 300–350 °C in vacuum with residual pressure in the synthesis reactor no more than 5 Pa. Further, the formed nickel powder is reacted with phosphorus trifluoride at a temperature of 100–150 °C and a pressure of 40–60 atm.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the safety of the process of obtaining tetrakis (trifluorophosphine) nickel by eliminating the use of gaseous hydrogen, increasing the yield and purity of the product in terms of sulfur content.
