FIELD: physics, computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an information inputting method in computer engineering using manual information inputting devices. The contactless computer control method involves monitoring change in the position of the controlling hand in a contactless cursor control operating mode of the device, said hand being situated in the operating zone of a system of cursor control sensors, results of said monitoring of which are used to control cursor movement; executing a control action which is characterised by that the system for contactless input of three-dimensional information into the computer used is a system included in the computer, which is equipped with a contactless cursor control device with a three-dimensional control object, wherein three-dimensional monitoring of change in the position of the controlling hand in the operating zone of the system of sensors of the contactless cursor controlling device and three-dimensional monitoring of change in the configuration of the controlling hand and mutual arrangement of its fingers are performed either simultaneously or successively; control action is executed based on results of said monitoring.
EFFECT: high efficiency of executing control actions on a monitor screen via contactless control.
