ULTRASONIC THERAPY METHOD AND SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC A61N7/02 A61B18/18 G06F19/00

Abstract RU 2519378 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to devices for ultrasonic ablation therapy. A machine-readable data medium for the ultrasonic ablation method comprises codes for the stages whereat the first visualisation of a zone of interest is followed by a graphical delimitation of a controlled target object; ultrasonic beam geometries are specified in an ultrasonic ablation gallery as described by the axial and lateral distances to an ultrasonic sensor; the first ultrasonic ablation of the first part of the controlled target object is performed; the second visualisation of the zone follows the first ultrasonic ablation; this provides the basis to calculate ultrasonic ablation geometries limited by the indexed axial and lateral distances in the gallery; for the ablation of the second part of the range of treatment, the other ultrasonic ablation geometries are specified in the gallery on the basis of the second visualisation and calculation, and the second ultrasonic ablation followed at least partially on the basis of the specified other ultrasonic ablation geometries. The ultrasonic ablation system comprises a visualiser, a processor accommodating an instrument for controlling and delimitation of the controlled target object, and an ultrasonic transducer.

EFFECT: using the invention enables reducing a risk of intact tissue involvement and minimising the length of treatment ensured by more accurate determination of the range of treatment.
