FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ultrasound systems of medical diagnostic. Method of using ultrasound information for planning of pathology ablative therapy, comprising the steps, on which the pathology to be treated by ablation is identified in an ultrasound image. One or more blood vessels are identified that are in close proximity to the pathology. One or more blood vessels in an ultrasound image are crossed with a surface contour. At the intersection of the surface contour with one or more blood vessels three-dimensional ultrasonic Doppler data are obtained from the bloodstream of the identified blood vessels. Amount of blood flowing through the identified blood vessels is calculated using ultrasonic Doppler data. Plan for ablative therapy is developed, which takes into account the amount of blood flowing through the identified blood vessels heat transfer characteristics.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase the ablative therapy effectiveness.
