FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: Proton Magnetic Resonance (PMR) spin-echo signals are excited in a sample placed in static magnetic field by series of radio frequency impulses, spin-echo amplitudes are registered in reference and measure samples, at that components of studied mixtures - water and oil (or oil product) - are taken as reference samples, and effective times of spin-spin relaxation in reference and measure samples are measured by initial segments of envelope echo signals in interval, which is selected in a specific way. The sample is added with a mixture component conditioning the value of PMR signal of a component with the lowest content, after which water and oil concentration is determined following relative mathematical expressions. Besides, integral parameters of disperse distribution of water drops from times of spin-lattice relaxation of water are additionally determined by a specific formula.
EFFECT: ensuring possibility of determination of water drop disperse distribution integral parameters.
