FIELD: transport, distribution.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for distribution of cut tobacco being fed into cigarette making machines. In this method, cut tobacco is fed into distribution chamber through supply channel and taken from distribution chamber by means of at least two intake channels feeding tobacco into cigarette making machines. Herewith, intensity of feeding through feeding channel and total amount of material received by intake channels temporarily differ thus causing temporary overstock of cut tobacco in distribution chamber. Note also that cut tobacco is fed into distribution chamber (2) onto eccentrically installed rotating element providing change of local apparent density and cut tobacco flow disturbance. Note also that this element is rotated around the axis virtually perpendicular to bottom of distribution chamber (2) so that cut tobacco apparent density is changed immediately before it is fed into intake channels (4).

EFFECT: uniformity of cut tobacco apparent density immediately before cut tobacco is fed into intake channels.
