FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: method for soaking of fibrous material with a binding agent involves supply of a binding agent under pressure to a chamber of a soaking device in the direction opposite to movement of fibrous material; with that, binding agent is squeezed for many times through fibrous material now on one side and then on the other side in turn, as well as rubbed and pressed into it by means of rounded partitions of the device. The device for the method's implementation includes a chamber that is equipped with a passage for movement of fibrous material and a pipeline for supply to it of binding agent; with that, the chamber consists of U- or L-shaped housing, inside which inserts are fixed on edges, and between them there located is a puncheon, under which a pipeline is led out and a slide with rounded partitions, which is equipped with a fixing movement mechanism.

EFFECT: quality soaking of fibrous material of different thickness and weaving, as well as some of its layers, with a viscous binding agent; providing uniform application of the binding agent onto fibrous material and minimising availability of encapsulated air in the soaked fibrous material.
